What it does

Takes an existing block, component or section and polishes it in one pass through Emil Kowalski's taste discipline, animation patterns and a motion audit. It is NOT new-page design — only refinement of what exists. Optionally starts with alternative directions from three models at once (GLM + Kimi K3 + Stitch), labeled and score-tracked; the final code is always hand-built by Claude Code.

How to use

  1. 1Say “revise this block” / “polish this section” or /revise <block>.
  2. 2Optional: block alternatives from three models in parallel (GLM + Kimi + Stitch), with a running win tally.
  3. 3Then Emil (taste), animation, motion audit through three lenses.
  4. 4Before/After table at each step, plus a final checklist.

When it triggers

“revise this block”“polish this component”“run this through the design pass”/revise

Example

/revise the pricing section on the home page — walks typography, states, reveal animation, returns cleaned-up code.

Updates

  • Added an optional gate against Vercel's official design checklist (`vercel-labs/web-interface-guidelines`, MIT): accessibility, focus states, forms, touch behaviour, hydration. The rules live as a LOCAL copy pinned to a commit and verified by sha256 — third-party markdown is never fetched per call and is fed to the model as data, not instructions. The Animation and Performance categories are deliberately disabled: Emil and audit-site already cover them. Still a pilot — it runs only on explicit request; its first live run produced 4 findings, 3 of which a taste pass does not surface. Plus soft / minimalist / brutalist style presets (from `Leonxlnx/taste-skill`, MIT) — a shared prompt modifier for all three generators at once, not a fourth contestant.

  • The three-model trio is now a hard rule: block alternatives are always drafted by GLM + Kimi K3 + Stitch in parallel, previews are labeled per model, and the picked winner is logged to a shared scoreboard. The final code is always hand-built by Claude Code — external LLMs only set the direction, the Emil discipline does the polish.

  • Skill created: block revision loop (Stitch → Emil → animation → audit).
